Since its launch in the summer of 2006, Tyre Shopper has grown from a business start up to the dominant online tyre retailer.
For the third quarter running Tyre Shopper has received a Hitwise Top Ten award. Carl Dean, Silkmoth's Technical Director, commented:
"Hitwise awards are based on visitor numbers to websites. In Tyre Shopper's case we are in the top ten within the Automotive category. This category is one of the most competitive in the UK market and includes powerhouses like eBay Motors, Auto Trader and Halfords. To achieve three consecutive awards is something we are rightly very proud of."
This quarter also sees the introduction of motorbike tyres to the Tyre Shopper website which opens up the site to a new market and will see the site's revenue continue to grow.
