On 12th December 2007 Silkmoth will be co-hosting the second in a series of seminars with Gorvins Solicitors of Stockport. Presented by Tim Dennis, Christian Mancier (both of Gorvins Solicitors) and Keith Jones, Silkmoth's Managing Director, the seminar entitled Trading on the Internet will look at the legal and technical issues of e-commerce.

In the twelve months to October 2007, Silkmoth have seen an increase in turnover of 40%.
Sales of Silkmoth's flagship Wirenet™ content management system have grown following an increasing demand for self-managed content. In the last 12 months the Wirenet™ Content Management System has been rolled out to:
As well as an increase in demand for content managed websites, we have also seen an increase in demand for very technical websites. Our customers have a greater understanding of the web and what can be achieved. Customers are now demanding greater functionality, more than just content.
Keith Jones, Silkmoth's Managing Director, says "Customers are increasingly web savvy. We've seen a significant increase in demand for bespoke development. Silkmoth have also strengthened their credentials in the business to business (B2B) market. The development and succesful launch of the Viking International website demonstrates Silkmoth's capability to integrate a web front end with an in-house sales order processing system.
The launch of Credit Reference Services is an innovative partnership between Silkmoth and CreditSafe UK. Customers are now able to add an online business credit reporting service to their own websites sharing the revenue of each report.
Stockport based Trolex have awarded Silkmoth the contract to build their next generation of website.
Trolex provide safety monitoring and sensor technology to many large scale engineering projects all over the world. Trolex realised very early on that a good website was important not only to support their current customers but also to support their tenders.
The next generation of the Trolex website will add full Wirenet content mangement allowing Trolex staff to amend and add content and be responsive to the needs of their fast moving business.

Leicestershire based Beaumanor Engineering Limited have awarded the contract to build the Fluid Fittings website to Silkmoth.
The Fluid Fittings site will sell a range of 10,000 products to Beaumanor's account customers. The website will be integrated with Baumanor's back office Sage 200 accounting system providing a seamless transfer of customer orders from web to warehouse.
