Keith Jones, the Managing Director of Silkmoth has been asked to speak at a prestigious leadership lunch organised by Leadership Northwest. The event will take place on Tuesday 20th March at 11.30am in the Sapphire Suite of Edgeley Park, Stockport. The ground is the home of Sale Sharks and Stockport County Football Club.
The lunch will be themed around the subject of Leadership Challenges in Business. Keith has been asked to speak because of the strong reputation that Silkmoth has earned for web design and internet application development. As Keith puts it:
"We want our clients to regard us as their business partner because we work hard to understand what is important to them in the development of their business. Whether or not you currently use the web as part of your business, we believe we'll be able to give you some great ideas for how it can be used to make a bigger contribution to your success."

Rather than spending time and money chasing debtors, why not let us do it for you? This is the message delivered by the latest website built by Silkmoth.
PCS Credit Management is owned by Meridian Business Support who is an existing customer of Silkmoth's.
The Wirenet™ website provides debt collection services and an online credit checking facility through a direct web link with CreditSafe.
Companies can access credit reports within minutes from as little as £4 each. The reports are very comprehensive and include the company credit rating, any previous names that the company traded under, details of county court judgements, company account details, director information and profit and loss accounts.
The debt collection service is competitively priced and suitable for debts from £100. Small business owners can buy online using their credit card.
Utilising the most up-to-date information and technology available, PCS also provides tracing services to find most gone away debtors, from as little as a £50 set fee.
Barry Kirkwood, the Managing Director of PCS Credit Management said:
"Silkmoth worked closely with us to ensure that we now have a site that meets our expectations. We needed it to be functional and user friendly for our customers and easy for us to update. That is what we have got."

The new Steroplast website was launched last week www.steroplast.co.uk. It replaces the previous site built by Silkmoth 4 years ago.
Steroplast management opted for the highly functional Retail Variant Wirenet™ for their upgrade. This option includes a product catalogue and the company are using this to great effect to promote over 100 product ranges.
To meet the needs of a business that sends out a lot of sample products, the site has an integrated sample request service. All related emails are collated overnight and a single picking list is produced, grouped by customer.
The site includes the Wirenet™ newsletter system and Steroplast have already sent out the first newsletter to their existing customers.
Adam Brown, the Managing Director of Steroplast said:
"I would not hesitate to recommend Silkmoth to anybody who is thinking about upgrading their website. The site we now have is very user friendly and really promotes our products. The customer service has been outstanding and the Developers helpful and flexible."

The Tyre Shopper website went live in August 2006 and has been up and running in excess of 6 months. The site has been so successful that it is now getting a higher share of search engine traffic for the key word “tyres” than any other site. Tyre Shopper is advertising online using a Google pay per click campaign and the sale conversion rate is well above average for a business to customer site. Tyre Shopper now sells the same number of tyres as many high street fitting centres per day.
The sales figures are even more impressive considering that during the six month website development period several competitors came into the market and Tyre Shopper has maintained its market leader status.
The customer who commissioned the site and the developers at Silkmoth are absolutely delighted with this innovative site and have submitted it to be considered for a prestigious Blue Chip Award.
Since the Spinal Foundation www.spinal-foundation.org launched its website back in July 2007, they have seen a massive increase in visitors.
The previous Spinal Foundation website averaged around 500 page views per month with 900 visitor referrals from search engines. The new website has resulted in the organisation attracting more than double the number of visitors and the number of page views has more than doubled meaning visitors are staying longer and accessing more information. Overall the site has seen a 330% increase in traffic.
A wider audience has also been gained for the organisation by an ongoing translation programme. The site has already been translated into French and Spanish with plans to provide German, Italian and Russian language versions in the near future.
The site attracts regular visitors from all over the world, from Peru to New Zealand, raising awareness of the Spinal Foundation and the ground breaking work of spinal surgeon Mr Martin Knight M.D., FRCS, MBBS.
