The beta preview phase of ReallyWorried.com came to an end at 00:01am today as the official launch of the website went worldwide. Thanks to Reuters, BBC Breakfast, Anna Reyburn's afternoon show on LBC and The Sun the website has seen a frenzy of activity.
Carl Dean, Silkmoth's Technical Director, commented:
"I was a bit concerned that our servers would struggle to cope with demand. However, the ground work we've put in with the site's owners has meant that we were more than prepared to cope with the huge spike in traffic we've seen today. When the site's PR campaign went officially live just after midnight we quickly started to see traffic from all over the globe. Visitor numbers have grown throughout the day and this evening we're looking at a job well done."
