Silkmoth built the first generation Hogg the Builder website in 2001. For much of the six years since launch, the site has been attracting visitors and directing them to Hogg's properties throughout York and the surrounding area.
The time finally came when the website had to be brought up to date. The first site had been a complete success but now needed a refresh. Silkmoth worked with Hogg's external design agency to produce a modern functional design that can now be seen on the Hogg The Builder, York website.
One of the key technical requirements of the project was to extend the previous site's content management capability. The new website was built upon Silkmoth's successful Wirenet™ platform. The property management functionality was completely rebuilt and now includes much more capability for the addition of development maps, internal and external property photographs, floor plans and virtual tours.
Denise Sherwood, Silkmoth's lead developer on the Hogg's project said:
"I've looked after the Hogg's site for almost five years now and was very pleased to be given the opportunity to bring the site right up to date. The new content management system gives Hogg's complete control and total flexibility over the site's content."

The second website, like the corporate website, will be built on the Wirenet™ content management platform. The site will cover a specific area of TJ Legal's specialist knowledge. Highly optimised, the site is expected to deliver well qualified visitors for one of TJ Legal's niche specialisms.

Silkmoth have won a further project with GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services to provide online driver satisfaction surveys.
At regular intervals GE carry out satisfaction surveys with the drivers of their key clients. Emails are sent to drivers asking them to log on and answer a series of questions. Results are then fed back to clients and also used internally.
Silkmoth have won the contract to update the survey system to provide GE with complete control of each survey within a controlled and manageable budget. GE staff will be able to tailor each survey for their key accounts' specific needs. Silkmoth will also collate and summarise data to improve the quality of analysis and reporting that is available.
