Directors Share the Silkmoth Experience

22 February 2007

The Technical Director and Managing Director of Silkmoth have been invited to give a breakfast seminar by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce entitled "Is your website working for you – or for your competitors?"

The breakfast seminar is aimed at business owners and people responsible for sales and marketing to help them get a better return on the investment they have made in using the web. If you decide to book on to the seminar, you will leave with solid information that you can use immediately to make sure your website is a strong part of winning business and keeping customers.

The seminar will include:

  • How to measure the performance of your own and your competitors' websites.
  • What your website should not include that may be threatening your business.
  • Which bits of web jargon you need to understand.
  • How people use the web and how your site can be optimised to benefit from this behaviour.
  • Advice on how you could integrate other marketing activity to generate more business at lower cost.
  • A 10 point checklist to take back to your web designer so that you can set the goals for what you would like your website to achieve.

Keith Jones, Managing Director of Silkmoth said:

"Unless you understand how the web really works you will be unable to check that your provider is really giving you value and that your website is delivering profitable results. Silkmoth has been around since the Internet started, and has produced a long track record of successful projects for our customers. We are delighted to pass on tips based on this experience to Manchester Chamber members."

The seminar will take place at the Seedfield Training Centre, Parkinson Street, Bury BL9 6NY on Tuesday 27th February 2007. The cost is £15 + VAT to members of Manchester Chamber of Commerce and £30 + VAT to non-members. Places can be booked on the Chamber Link website.
