The brand new site for the Staffordshire based Churchill China went live this week. The site, unlike its predecessor showcases both the Churchill Super Vitrified Range, supplied to pubs and food outlets and the Alchemy Fine China Brand, every piece of which is endorsed by a top chef. The chances are that the last time you ate at a fine dining restaurant, the tableware was supplied by Churchill China!
Churchill's previous site did not do the company's beautifully designed crockery the justice it deserved. The new site, built in conjunction with Promedia Advertising uses fabulous photography and quality film reels to really showcase the products. This is controlled by Churchill staff so that they do not have to rely on (or pay!) for updates to be added externally.
James Roper, Marketing Manager at Chuchill said:
"We chose Silkmoth to develop our site because we were confident with their ability to create something that was functional and easy to navigate around. The new site does exactly that.
Churchill do not currently sell online, but they didn't want to rule this out for the future. The Wirenet™ technology that Silkmoth specialises in has been specially configured to give them full content management of both the company pages and also the entire product catalogue.
The new site also enables customers to request brochures for any product online. These requests are collated on a daily basis and are sent to Churchill for dispatch through the post. Churchill have reported that requests started coming through the day that the website was switched on.
James Roper added:
"We are really looking forward to working with Silkmoth again in the near future. Their flexibility to date has been exceptional and we are looking forward to extending our relationship as the site develops."
