The new Michael Turner Photography website, built by Silkmoth has been launched this week at www.turnerweddings.co.uk. The new site really showcases Michael and Janet Turner's lovely award winning pictures which embrace beautiful wedding scenes from all over Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Manchester and Cumbria.
In order to promote their business in all of these areas of the North of England, Michael has taken the sensible step of purchasing five extra domain names all beginning with one of his specialist regional areas e.g. www.cheshire-wedding-photographer.co.uk. These domains all point to a page on his site that has photo shoots from locations within that region.
As the site is based on Silkmoth’s speciality Wirenet™ Content Management System Michael can change the examples of his work to reflect the seasons.
The Michael Turner site demonstrates, beautifully, what can be done with an uncluttered style and beautiful photographs.

Silkmoth has been awarded the contract to rebuild the current ISOVER website using the highly functional Wirenet™ content management system.
ISOVER is part of the Saint-Gobain group, a world-wide, world-renowned producer, processor and distributor of materials for industry. The ISOVER division specialises in supplying glass mineral wool insulation to a wide variety of industries including the construction and DIY retail sectors.
Silkmoth has partnered with Huét and Company Advertising (www.huet.co.uk), the Manchester based Design Company, to win the order. ISOVER are keen to have a crisp, modern design, but also want control over the content of the site. The bid submitted by Huet and Silkmoth provides the ideal combination of skills and experience that gave ISOVER the confidence to award the contract.
The new website will solve some technical problems that the current ISOVER site experiences with some browser versions and user configurations and will no longer present information in a framed layout. This will make the site more search engine friendly. As well as enabling ISOVER staff to add written content and new images the site will also have a newsletter capability. It is due to be launched in the Spring.

The brand new site for the Staffordshire based Churchill China went live this week. The site, unlike its predecessor showcases both the Churchill Super Vitrified Range, supplied to pubs and food outlets and the Alchemy Fine China Brand, every piece of which is endorsed by a top chef. The chances are that the last time you ate at a fine dining restaurant, the tableware was supplied by Churchill China!
Churchill's previous site did not do the company's beautifully designed crockery the justice it deserved. The new site, built in conjunction with Promedia Advertising uses fabulous photography and quality film reels to really showcase the products. This is controlled by Churchill staff so that they do not have to rely on (or pay!) for updates to be added externally.
James Roper, Marketing Manager at Chuchill said:
"We chose Silkmoth to develop our site because we were confident with their ability to create something that was functional and easy to navigate around. The new site does exactly that.
Churchill do not currently sell online, but they didn't want to rule this out for the future. The Wirenet™ technology that Silkmoth specialises in has been specially configured to give them full content management of both the company pages and also the entire product catalogue.
The new site also enables customers to request brochures for any product online. These requests are collated on a daily basis and are sent to Churchill for dispatch through the post. Churchill have reported that requests started coming through the day that the website was switched on.
James Roper added:
"We are really looking forward to working with Silkmoth again in the near future. Their flexibility to date has been exceptional and we are looking forward to extending our relationship as the site develops."
Silkmoth has appointed a new member of staff as part of an ongoing expansion programme. Mike Irving has extensive experience of improving the page ranking of sites by search engines such as Google.
"I am very much looking forward to putting my search engine optimisation experience into practice here at Silkmoth," said Mike. "The company has a wide range of customers and I aim to optimise their sites on an ongoing basis to help them achieve their business goals."
Mike will also be extensively involved in developing a number of Wirenet™ sites for new and existing customers, helping Silkmoth to meet increased demand.
Carl Dean, Silkmoth's Technical Director, adds "Mike is a very welcome addition to our team. Not only does he bring some great experience to Silkmoth but also a huge amount of enthusiasm."
