Linder Myers is a firm of solicitors which has become one of the leading practices in the North West. Silkmoth developed the original Linder Myers (www.lindermyers.co.uk) web site two years ago. The site utilises the WireNet™ technology that Silkmoth has incorporated onto many of its clients sites (see for example www.spinal-foundation.org or www.leadmachinetools.co.uk).
The platform allows the client to add and update their own site content simply and quickly. Two key departments within the law firm have been utilising the news section of the site and adding stories on a regular basis. Careful analysis by both Silkmoth and Linder Myers revealed that as a result of this constant updating of the news sections, more people were finding the site. The knock on effect has been that more business has been generated for the clinical negligence and psychological injury departments.
Linder Myers has awarded Silkmoth the contract to extend their site in four main areas. Firstly, all departments will have their own news area where they can add stories specific to the services that they provide. Secondly, old news stories will be archived in a much more efficient way that will allow the public to access them by clicking on an archive link. In addition, changes will be made to the site so that all fee earners can have their own CV page. Finally, Linder Myers provides services to a number of ‘closed’ organisations such as police forces and trade unions and web pages will be developed that promote specific offers to individuals within these organisations. The new web site will be launched in the next few weeks and will be announced on the Silkmoth website News page.
